“The cyber attack wasn’t a board issue because we lost £5million.  It was a board issues because the attack made headlines and undermined our customers’ trust in our online systems, threatening the brand and the direction we wanted to go as a company.”

The Information Security Forum invites senior information security professionals to a new roundtable event on Tuesday, 8 October 2019 in Amsterdam.

Costly, high profile cyber-attacks have focused Board attention on information security more than ever before. Investors are demanding their Boards are well versed in potential information security risks and Boards are in turn looking to CISOs for a clear understanding of risks and security controls in place.

This interactive meeting is designed for senior executives to share knowledge and experiences of working with the board and sub-committees to protect against existing and emerging threats.

Areas the roundtable will address include:

  • Aligning information the board needs with key information security updates
  • Understanding the board perspective and challenges
  • Driving business best practice from the top down

Spaces are limited so if you would like to attend, please contact Sebastian Tischer at sebastian.tischer@securityforum.org or call on +49 (0) 172 833 6042.
