We have witnessed a dramatic rise in state-sponsored attacks over the last year, amongst them a cyber-attack on the German government and the leaking of politician’s personal data. Governments must ensure they keep up with threats and developments in cyberspace and collaborate with other governments and organisations to set the standard for cybersecurity best practice.
