ISF Announces New Partnership with Prostate Cancer Research

We’re delighted to share that ISF has joined forces with Prostate Cancer Research (PCR) in a new two‑year partnership designed to increase awareness of prostate cancer and empower our Members and their networks to make informed health decisions.
Prostate cancer remains one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers, and many of those at risk are still in full‑time work. For some, routine workplace health screenings reveal unexpected diagnoses, highlighting the importance of accessible information, proactive conversations and supportive environments within organisations.
Steve Durbin and Oliver Kemp share insights on prostate cancer and the ISF – PCR partnership:
Prostate cancer is a highly manageable form of cancer that responds well to treatment when caught early. Awareness and regular screening are key to ensuring all men are provided with the right information to make the right personal health choices at the earliest possible stage of diagnosis.
— Steve Durbin, Chief Executive, ISF
Through this partnership, ISF and PCR will work together to deepen understanding of prostate cancer and strengthen confidence around recognising risks and seeking medical guidance. The goal is to create a movement within the cyber security community that encourages individuals to take action early and supports them throughout their health journeys.
By uniting our expertise and reach, ISF and PCR aim to amplify vital conversations, champion better health practices and ensure that individuals, along with the colleagues, friends and families who support them, have access to the knowledge, resources and encouragement they need.
Together, ISF and PCR can lead on men’s health across some of the most male‑oriented industries in the world. We will showcase what’s possible when industry meets empathy, and when a sector leader and an agile charity come together not just to raise awareness, but to save lives.
— Oliver Kemp, CEO, Prostate Cancer Research
