Managing AI Risk: Introducing the ISF AI Risk Management Process

A standalone methodology and new AI risk module for IRAM3
AI adoption is accelerating, but many organisations still lack a consistent way to manage the risks that come with it across the full lifecycle. AI introduces new challenges around probabilistic behaviour, changing models, data dependencies, supplier change, autonomy and emerging threat scenarios, making traditional approaches harder to apply without adaptation.
In this webinar, ISF will introduce its new AI Risk Management Process, designed to help organisations identify, assess, treat, approve, monitor and reassess AI risk in a structured, proportionate and defensible way. The methodology can operate as a standalone approach or as an AI risk module within IRAM3, allowing organisations to build on established and trusted information risk management practices while addressing the characteristics that make AI different.
ISF’s Principal Research Analyst, Lee Munson, and Principal Consultant, Luka Ivezic will:
- Walk through how the end-to-end process works in practice, and how it supports AI that is used, procured, built or outsourced.
- Offer guidance on getting started, and share lessons learned so far from applying the methodology in practice.
