Join us and our esteemed guest speakers for a 5 part highly interactive series that takes place at midday (EDT) each Tuesday over a 5 week period. Aimed at CxO’s, these sessions will be 30-45 minutes in length and are designed to provide you with actionable insight based on the speaker’s deep industry knowledge.

We are now operating in a new world and one unrecognizable from 2019. Society, commerce and our lives have been disrupted on a level not experienced by many generations.  In the current circumstances, resilience has become a number one business priority for organizations.

Despite the unexpected, complex and far-reaching circumstances faced by risk management and security functions worldwide, the verdict is clear – planning pays off. Those who had invested in resilience planning and testing have reaped the benefits, by following established processes and procedures to respond quickly.

The series will run every Tuesday at 12:00 (EDT) from the 14th July 2020 through 11th August 2020. Each week a key speaker will share insight as we build a complete picture on how to build cyber resilience. At the conclusion of the series, a summary document outlining highlights from each session and suggested actions will be shared with participants.

21st July:
– Communicating in a Cyber Crisis
Siobhan Gorman, Partner, Brunswick Group

In a cyber crisis, how you respond has become more important than the incident, itself. Recent developments in cyberattack tactics during this era of expanded remote work have made cyber threats an even greater risk to a company’s reputation. In this session, Siobhan will focus on protecting your reputation in a cyber crisis, including the dos and don’ts of cyber crisis response and reputational lessons from recent breaches. She will share best practices in cyber crisis communications response and outline the key steps companies should be taking now to prepare and protect their reputations in  the next breach and maintain their resilience.

28th July:
Detection & Analysis
– Stories from the front lines
Jeff Lunglhofer, CISO, BNY Mellon

In this session, Jeff will provide lessons learnt and discuss innovative best practices that can help identify indicators and precursors of incidents and how security teams can better analyze and prioritize incidents to ensure you are focused on the right threats at the right time.

4th August:
Containment –
The Ultimate Incident Response Exercise: Are you remotely ready?
Tal Mozes,CEO, Mitiga

In this session Tal will explore how organizations are being forced to deal with the new and often unplanned, reality of remote working. Most Incident Response playbooks, procedures and technologies, assume that once a breach occurs, a team will arrive on site, critical stakeholders will be dealt with face to face, and that the breach will be managed and contained efficiently and discretely. We are now being quickly forced to rethink procedures, and build the capability, playbooks and methodologies for conducting Incident Response activities entirely remotely. Tal will present lessons learnt from the elite 8200 Israeli cyber unit and how corporate clients can learn from a military offensive approach in order to quickly bounce back after an attack.

11th August:
Recovery – Cyber Insurance: Making sure you are covered & bouncing back
Judy Selby, Partner, Hinshaw & Culbertson

In this session, Judy will provide an overview of cyber insurance, the benefits of getting the right policy, and the types of risks that are typically covered. She will discuss how to obtain the right coverage to fit a business’s cyber and privacy risk profile, how to apply for cyber coverage, and some practical steps companies should take to avoid jeopardizing their coverage in the event of a cyber or privacy incident.

All sessions will be recorded and made available for playback.

Please note, these sessions are available for CxO’s only.
