Jean-Michel Chapon
Services Director
Jean-Michel Chapon is Director of Services at the ISF. He has over 25 years of experience in advising corporations and organisations to enhance their businesses, at division, business unit or national level.
In this role he leads the team who develop and deliver ISF Consultancy, ISF Learning, and a variety of other professional services for ISF Members and non-member organisations. These service offerings help clients to better apply information security best practices based on the ISF’s portfolio of industry-leading frameworks and tools.
Before joining the ISF, he was Principal Business Consultant in the global consulting team at Huawei, advising telecom operators across the continents. Previous positions held include the lead at the UK arm of IDATE-Digiworld Institute, a TMT European think tank; Director at investment bank, LD&A, now Drake Star, and Associate Director at Gartner, in the Market and Business Strategy practice for the vendor community.
Jean-Michel developed a taste for security, risks management and business uncertainties during his MBA at Henley, where he disserted on the combined use of Monte-Carlo simulation and Scenario Planning for assessing uncertainties.
He is based in London. Outside of work he enjoys running (medium distances). He is also experimenting with woodwork.
